raid 0 and pc performance

I have two 500 GB Caviar Black hard drives. So I activated windows without raid 0..Then I ran a performance test on my PC and got a 5.9 for my disk data transfer rate. So Ii re-installed windows 7 with raid 0 then Ii tested ut again and then it was still at 5.9
 
You will only get a score above 5.9 if you have an SSD or like 4 HDD's in RAID. I have a single WD Caviar SE 250gb that scores a 5.9
