raid 0?

ignore topic title, i meant raid 0 not 1 sorry


i have just put in 2 hard drives...well actually one was already there and running winxp, i just put another in and its showing up as a separate drive in windows explorer, so how do i set up a raid 1 without reinstalling windows?

Do you have a raid controller? If so the drivers should be on the motherboard disk. These will let you set up RAID.

well i got this computer from a friend and he only gave me the tower, he didn't even give the OS cd!

I don't think you can set up RAID0 with an existing OS on a drive, I could be wrong though; I know you can do it with RAID1. When I set up RAID0 on my computer I started from scratch installing Windows after setting up the array.
