At first I was really confused about the Jmicron or the southbridge controling my RAID. but I found out that my SB controls all my SATA ports and Jmicron is just my eSATA ports. So who cared about those rigth now.

ok. I figured out that my southbridge controls the SATA ports I am using. and I went to bios and set it all up (using only the red ports for the drives in the RAID and the black ports for the other hard drives ather SATA stuff). Then I booted into Intel Matrix Storage Tech via CTrL + I and I set it up.

So at this point I know those parts are done. now when I go to frormat windows does not find the drive. because I need to press F6 and install the drivers. but I dont have a floppy. So I need to slipstream them. the drivers I neeed to slipstream is the Intel Matrix Sorage Tech Driver. but my dvd that came with the mobo only has an option to copy it to a floppy wich i dont have. so I need to either get a floppy of find these drivers with inf so I can slipstream it.

So, I know what driver I need and wat I need to do with

(Sorry, I cant really type greeat at this point the screen is moving and stuff, )

right. I know how to slipstream the drivers if I can find the INF files for it. and I think i found a way to get a hold of them, I downloaded a virtual floppy drive and used my mobo cd to make a floppy. but then I just copy the data off the fake floppy. then I" have a INf file, but when I go to slipstream it has 2 inf files in it . one is "iaAHCI" the other is "aiStor". I dont know what one to chose... when I chose the first one I get the option of Regular PNP driver, or Texmode driver. I know what to chose, but then I also have a list of like 15 diffrent intel things, it tells me to chose one but I dont know what one.

I got it figured out. Here is how I did it.

Firtst I downloaded and installed a "Virtual Floppy Drive" and ran it so my pc thinks there is a drive and a floppy disk in it. It shows up in 'My Computer" just like it would if it were real.. Then I put my driver CD in and made a Raid driver floppy of it. Then I went into Nlite and slipstreamed it, I chose textmode and about 30 diffrent things cames up. I looked at the specs in my manual and chose the one that matched. Then when I went to reformat i did not have to press f6 at all it just loaded and seen one hard drive.

I am 100% impressed with this. I can not believe how fast this made my computer, my old pos hard drive was holding my back so much.
