RAID Install Problems

Well, First off I have a DFI UT nf4 Ultra-D Mobo and they sent a RAID driver disk with it. I go to install it well, when you hit F6 and try to install the raid driver it gives errors. I've tried diffrent OSs but no luck. I've tried to download all diffrent sorts of RAID drivers but they dont work. They all say unrecongized system files or files corrupt. but, I download all of them off of DFI and they have self installations on to floppy's. But still no luck.

Any suggestions?

What raid are you doing IDE or SATA? Maybe the disk you are using is opposite of what you are trying to install? There are separate drivers for IDE and SATA.

Also, do you have raid setup in bios?

Raid

Yes, I'm using SATA II and I can get software raid to work but not hardware. My motherboard supports it also. But, I've downloaded all of the RAID drivers from thier website for the motherboard.

How many are you selecting form the list. With my Abit, I had to select 2 different drivers(at least with one version of the RAID software) before it would work...

Any idea why I'm selling those raptors and going to a single drive? ;)

Well, Thats the problem I can't even get to the Install party it tells me unrecongized file system or some stupid crap along those lines. I've tried to use 4 diffrent disks but.... Nothing.

I was able to use Raid after I fried my PCI Slots on my motherboard (by over powering)

I guess fring things could be a bonus in some cases (I don't use PCI slots anyways.. just the express.. lol)

anyone have any ideas on how to do raid without frying my pci slots?
I'm getting the same corrupt file crap when i load the drivers off the floppy
