raid setup issue

ok, i want to set up a raid array with 2 60g ssd's, i also have 2 x 500g hdd, a sata dvd and an e-sata in the front panel( not that i ever use it) i want to set up the ssd drives in an array but need 4 ports for the hdd, dvd and e-sata, i have 6 ports total but as far as i can figure if i create an array it uses 4 ports meaning i only have 2 left for ths hdd's dvd and esata, is there another way to set up the raid or maybe a sata pci card, or forget about the raid and run a 120g ssd, leaving 5 open ports any help would be great
 
You should be able to run either RAID 0 or RAID 1 on 2 ports only. Don't quote me on it though, as I have never ran a RAID array.

Other than that, I would agree that running a PCIe RAID controller would be the best option.
