in your opinion wat is the best hard drive 2 hard drives to run raid0 with, i was thinking western digital caviar but i hear alot about raptor so which should i choose?

Like I've been saying in the other threads I would use the caviars because the price/performance ratio isn't that great for the raptors

but is it betetr to have 16mb with say 250gb and 7200rpm than to have 8mb 74gb and 10k rpm for a high end gaming computer and game deisign programs

gaming is barely going to use your hard drive, game design is fairly light as well. In a RAID0 your load times are going to be almost nil with a 7200, a 10k RAID0 wont make it much shorter. Obviously the 10k will be better because it is faster, the real question is is the faster drive worth it (and if you can't tell already, I don't think it is but to each their own).
