Hey everyone.
With the help of people here I recently put together a pretty beefy editing rig. Thanks for all the help with picking out the best parts. The old thread link is below with all the parts and whatnot.
However, it now appears that one of my RAM sticks went out... When I originally put everything together and installed everything it installed all 32GB or RAM. However, I just checked recently and I see that it only shows 24GB or RAM. So I went into the BIOS just to look and I see there was an "abnormal" error message for slot B1. So I shut everything down, switched the stick in B1 with a stick in A1 and started it up again. Now it's showing me an error message in A1. So that tells me it's an issue with the RAM itself and not the motherboard RAM slot, right? The motherboard has 8 slots, and I made sure to put the 4 sticks in the right slots using the manual. Does anyone know what I should do? Try and send them back? Is there a way to try and fix it? Thank you!
