Ram Frequency Issue

So according to my BIOS and CPUZ my memory frequency is only at 722.4MHZ not sure if this is just a lack of knowledge or if its messed up but its gskill sniper series 2x4gb sticks 1600 is what i ordered the timings are right i just dont know what they are at 722 instead of 1600. sorry if this is a noob question.

ok i was also wondering about some memory overclocking . maybe some recomended apps and some reading material if anyone has any.

Thank you for clearing that up for me

I currently have amd's overdrive.
