I have two pc-3200 ram and i was wondering is it ok to put in 2 more pc-133 ram in with the other two.

Secondly i took out my 80G hard drive from my old computer which has xp pro on it and i want to put it in my new computer which already has a hard drive but has xp home on it, do i just put the old in with the new and it will reformat it or what do i do, thanks

Try as you might, PC-3200 and PC-133 are 2 TOTALLY different sockets and it won't work. Besides, it would be pretty dumb because PC is 400MHz where as PC133 is only 133MHz. BIG performace loss. It would be the same if you stuck say PC2100 chips in there. Oh, and if you have 2 different sockets(a few motherboards do) DON'T! Voltages are different and it will fry something.

Somewhere on the harddrive(usally the back where the connections are) there are some little jumpers that you can change around. Usally the lable tells you what settings are for what. You want to set it to slave, and you might want to check that your other drive is set to master with slave present(western digital drives can be VERY picky about their settings)
