I'm looking into getting 8GB of ram (preferabbly 1066Mhz but I'll settle for 800MHz) and I'm a bit confused on T1 and T2 timings. I've heard that you can only run T1 if you have 2 DIMMs, but then other people have told me that it's possible with 4 DIMMs. Can somebody clear this up?
Oh, and one last thing, 4 X 2GB would be better (faster) than 2 X 4Gb right?
P.S. I know 8GB is unesesary, but as we all know, hard drives are the major bottlebecks on almost all computers, so I'm wanting to get a lot of ram, and turn my paging file off.

After searching, I'll probably go with this RAM (times 4) because it's cheaper than getting one of the 8Gb kits.
