Your motherboard is fine for gaming! You will have to make some BIOS adjustments (RAM voltage, FSB:RAM ratio, and FSB speed) but that's not a problem!
9600 GT....not a bad card but there are many better out there. What is you budget for a graphics card?

Here are a few recommendations for you...all three will work great in your motherboard. All Needs Computers has a good price on PC8500 1066 MHz RAM.
But just a note: 800 MHz RAM is fine, That's what I run in my computer and I'm pulling over 14,000 on 3DMark06.
Photech:Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB for $75

Photec:G.Skill F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ 2GB (1GB x 2) PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) for $80

All needs Computers:Gskill 2gig kit (2 x 1gb) PC2-8500 DDR2 1066 dual channel for $75

As for the MSY store....my 11 year old daughter can make a better web site than that place! I would not even think about buying anything from that place. Customer service I would assume is a night mare with a place like that!
Photech is a sick website....They have some outrageous prices and some really good deals. They look like a really good company.

myself...I would go with the Gskill 1066! Great RAM company and a good price

Note:if you do get the 1066 MHz RAM....you will probably have to under clock it to 800 MHz. A friend of mine just sent me a message and told me that "it is very hard to get that motherboard to run stable with the RAM at 1066 MHz, not even worth the time and effort"
