RAM help!

Hello,

I want to upgrade my Dell Dimension 8200, but all the RAM I find for it is priced so high.

I think it takes a type of RAM called RIMM. Can it not take any other RAM that is cheaper?

Yes it uses RDRAM and Rambus stuff generally isn't cheap. You are looking for PC800 nonECC RDRAM. You can use a max of a 512MB stick per slot. Using one of those price grabber bots is probably the best way to go to find the cheapest set.
