I have a IBM T23 Notebook which I use as my second computer, mainly for the internet in my bedroom when I'm too lazy to go to my study & use my desktop compuer. My Thinkpad has 512 RAM, XP, 40 Gigs & I get the internet by cable broadband, the connection of my T23 is wireless. The internet speed on the T23 by wireless is OK, not great- not terrible, certainly not as good as my desktop computer which is hardwired & has 1 gig of RAM. Too make a long story short, if I double the RAM in my T23 notebook from 512 RAM to 1 Gig will I see a noticeable improvement in my (wireless) internet speed or will it be a slight improvement at best. I don't really use the T23 for anything other then the internet. Thanks for any advice.
