RAM Issue

So I just replaced my old, POS 512mb RAM card for two 1gb RAM cards. The RAM capacity shows up as 2gb on my computer. Task Manager shows, however, something different. Yes, task manager states that I have a total of 2gb but it also states that using 516mb (rough estimate) is causing my computer usage to hit 100%. I don't understand it! When I installed the RAM, isn't it supposed to be useful?! HALPZ!

I'm not sure what you mean by this... you mean, your CPU usage is maxed out, or your memory usage? Can you post a screenshot of your task manager?

If it's the CPU usage, it's probably some buggy application or possibly a virus hogging down your CPU time. More memory is always better, though, so even if there's another problem to solve you won't regret your purchase.
