RAM Latency for upgrade and lower frequency showing

Hi there,

so I'm planning to upgrade my RAM-memory to 16GB sooner or later, but I can't seem to find the data about its latency.
The exact product I have now is a G.Skill 2x4GB "1600-788 RipjawsX K2 GSK", I don't know if the K2 GSK is helpful but hey...
I used Astra32 for this but the info I get from it is pretty confusing: it shows CAS-latency 4x and each with 9,8,7 or 6 as value.

According to the manufacturer, the "1600-788" means 1600MHz (of course) and 7-8-8 as latency values. That's what I got from looking at virtually the same product showing 8-8-8 as value code... which means I can't order the same memory cards again for compatibilty? See my confusion? :o

Number 2 is: when I flashed and updated the settings of the BIOS, I noticed my memory is only running at 1333MHz, even though the motherboard supports it (MSI Z77A-GD55). I can't seem to be able to change that except for the overclock settings but I don't want any OC!

Any help please? :/

So I did have to go to the OC settings after all... but it worked, thanks!

About the model: yes that's exactly it! I seriously doubt that shipping would happen in just 2 days though...I live in Belgium :p
But whatever. I'll look for possible cards then! And uh... does the latency have to match perfectly? (Like only the CAS Latency or all values)
