Hello guys, first of all i am first in this forum and i'm so sorry for my English because i from Macedonia :)
-So i have a problem with my rams !

-I had my ram before only 2GB DDR3 1333MHz (A-DATA) with cool performance and i have added + 2GB DDR3 1333MHz (APACER) to make it totally 4GB. So yes i did this without any problem but when i tried to re-formatt my pc with WinXP it takes along, and i think that winxp probably is broken, and then i tried again with Win7 cd, but i got the same problem it takes 1% about 10 sec and drivers, basic aplications are installing very very slow like a hell ! So this problem i didn't got before with 2GB RAM , after upgraded to 4GB i got slugish performance on my pc !!!, Please tell me something , do you think that i have mixed Ram Memory brands and i got this problem?, do you think that my second ram slot doesn't work ? or what ? because i have only two slots !
-And the second question when i uninstalling APACER ram from the second slot i got again the same sluggish performance like a 4GB, i don't know what's wrong with my pc , please tell me something !!!

my other specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.67@GHz
ASRock G41-CS Express Chipset
Ati Radeon HD 4670
Hitachi SATA 2 250GB

Don't know what exactly is causing your problem so I can't really help much. I have never heard of ADATA RAM; but APACER was considered to be very good back in Super 7 board days. Don't know if it is still considered to be very good. One thing is, I usually use identical matching sticks of RAM in my machines for best results. Since the problem remains after you remove one stick, it might not be related to the RAM at all.

I would start by checking all your bios settings to make sure they are right. Another thing is some boards require that you clear the bios after any hardware change. That might be your prob if the bios is still treating the APACER as being installed, though why adding APACER would cause a problem is beyond me. I think more likely it is a Windopes issue, though again I don't know. Try putting the APACER back in then clearing the bios, redoing your custom settings, then boot and see what happens.

You say when you put it in, you didnt have any problems till you reinstalled?

Your board only runs 1333 when OC. Which means you would need to set the speed
/timimg/voltage manually. Did you do that or are you running at 1066?

Download CPUz and tell what speed/timing and voltage they are running at.

Plus what is the model number of the APACER amd A-DATA memory?
