I have ddr3 ram 1333 mhz and it was running @ 667 mhz cause my onboard graphics was that speed.. Now i got a video card with memory speed 1600 mhz and the ram speed is still 667mhz and not 1333.. what is the problem?
I thought so an one more thing, i have an athlon II x2 3.0ghz and i run the gta iv benchmark on max resolution medium settings and i get 32 fps and i run it on lowest resolution medium settings 35 fps, is the cpu and gpu bottlenecking??
You should have no problems running gta 4 on that system. The system requirements aren't that high.
•OS: Windows XP SP2
•Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
•RAM: 2GB
•Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
•Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader
•Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
i can run it 1024x1480 medium setting 16x aliasing 26-30 fps and sometimes a little little little lag..... i prabably need to close backround apps, cause gta iv is very cpu intesnsive and requires quad core to run high settings
