RAM+Mobo, Compatibility

well, neither one will run at 1333mhz stock (1:1 ratio) and thats what would give you the best performance. i would recommend getting the 1066 XMS2 then overclocking it to 1333 so it will run 1:1 wiht your CPU FSB. but either one will be compatible with that mobo

Yeah, I was wanting 1:1, look at Gigabyte's memory compatibility sheet for that board. How sure are you that this will work? What is the difference in the Corsair memory model numbers that start with CM and TWIN2X?

i believe the difference is LEDs on the RAM, however, there may be no difference at all. i am 99.9% sure this RAM is compatible, and the only reason i dont say 100% is because you can never truly be 100% sure until you try it.

That sounds right to me, the CM models have the LEDs correct? I don't need those, I don't even see a CM model that is 1066Mhz.

Thanks again
