About RAM
My mobo has 3 slots for RAM and i have 3 sticks (all Kingston) of RAM which is:
1st DDR400 512MB (hynix chips) (newest) (fastest)
2nd DDR333 512MB (generic chips) (older) (slower?)
3rd DDR333 256MB (generic too) (oldest) (slowest?)

I put the first stick of ram in the 1st slot, 2nd stick in the 2nd slot and so on. Does the system use the ram in the 1st slot until it's full and then move onto the next slot or it just put the data randomly on any stick of RAM?

All I can say is... the DDR400 is going to run at the 2 DDR333's speed... downclocking.. if your worried aboout speed then get all DDR400
