like title says, when i boot up my computer and check the bios. it's read at pc800 and on auto mode. when i change it to 1066. it'll reboot. mobo is msi platinum am2+, ram is 2gb of corsair 1066 i think 5-5-5-15 timing. not sure though. thanks

Like said above if your running a Athlon not a Phenom. The AM2 Athlon memory controller only supports up to DDR2 800. If your running a Phenom check to see what the stock voltage and timming for the 1066 is and set that manually too.

Yes your 1066 is DDR2, dont really know what he meant. You need to find out what the stock voltage and timming for your ram is, and go into the bios and manually set them and see if it will boot at 1066

what? the link he provided for his RAM is DDR3, dont know what you meant

I knew he just picked the wrong corsair link because he already has the ram and if he got DDR3 it would not even fit.
