In my laptop i have 4 GB of CORSAIR Value Select RAM (PC2 5300):

and it runs pretty fast with windows vista ultimate (32 bit), so I know that my OS only uses up to 3.2 GB (or something like that) but when I just turn it on this happens:

Its been like this for the past few days now and I'm getting fed up with the sloooooow speed. I haven't done anything different or installed anything new.
Can anyone help me with this annoying problem.

PS: Even Classic Doom runs slow..... I CANT EVEN PLAY THAT!!!!!!

Try going to Start>Run>Msconfig and look at the last couple of tabs and uncheck things your don't need to start up when your computer restarts like quicktime and realplayer or whatever. Even if you uncheck it doesnt mean it won't work anymore, it just means it'll start running when you actually need it to with some exceptions. Also try this lil utility called Ram2Free. It tries and clears out some ram and it'll go slow after it finishes its little process but it'll speed up after a minute or 2 when you start up your other applications and stuff.
