I have heard that some RAM sticks will not run at there full potential. Like PC3200 running at PC2700 speeds. Is this true? If my Motherboard only supports PC3200, could i get PC4000 to make sure it would deffinatley run at PC3200 speeds or would that be a waste of money??

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Higher number always backwards compatible

Any RAM AT or above your current RAM will work, although if your system can't support the fancy higher RAM's kick-ass speed, it won't be too much faster. Unless you like to use big numbered RAM for its overclocking potential. Get compatible RAM at the motherboard speed. If you buy higher RAM, you'll waste money unless you like to overclock. :)
