I'm doing a little upgrading on my aunts old computer! I'm taking out the old 256mb ddr sd ram pc 2700 and looking to install 2 512mb ddr sd ram pc 3200. However, when I go to dell and check under the specs for my motherboard it says "Memory type - PC2100 (266-MHz) or PC2700 (333-MHz) DDR SDRAM (non-ECC)" Would these sticks even work with the motherboard? I'm hoping so because there the smallest PC# I can find anywhere around me!
The computer is a Dimension 2400 and the link to the support specs is http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim2400/en/sm_en/specs.htm
Hope You Can Help!
