RAM Question

Hey I currently have 512 ram and the Elitegroup KT600-a Motherboard.
I want more ram. But im not sure what kind i can get..
Can anyone help me?
I want at least 1gig of ram.
I dont even know what kind of ram i have now.. ddr or what ever!

Whats a good brand ?
After I buy, I just put it in next to the other ram stick?

yupp, hmm corsiar is good i use samsung and I like that but w/e. and yes you just insert it into the ram slot next to your current ram, look at the book that came with your mother board for instructions but basicly just pull back the clips and insert it.

sorry but i like the buffalo brand of RAM or patriot just to let you know i cant think of anythign specificaly australian srry

It would be best to get 1 GB stick to replace your old one don't mix the 2 because it's not good to be mixing different type of ram
