RAM thingy

When i start my comp up, i have FreeRamXP Pro- it says usually that i have like 620mb free- (i have a virus that i cant eradicate completely). I play CoD2 campaign for a while, i exit... and now i have 760mb free. WTF! sometimes its even lower at startup- i close all programs and procceses that arent needed before i play, but there are a couple i cant (prob virus). They are gone when i even open CoD2 for like a min, then close it! any help is appreciated.

some programmes are not permanenty RAM resident, meaning that sometimes if you close them, they free up your RAM

Well, if I had a virus in my system, I would try every inch of my fiber inside me to delete, terminate, kill, debug it no matter if it means buying a $50 software to get rid of it...

as for me on the other hand, i would just let my avg take care of it. it serves me well
