Claiming timings of 4-4-4-12. According to CPU-Z, its showing them at 5-5-5-16. What's going on?

To get 4-4-4-12 timings you have to set them manually in the BIOS.

In the BIOS go to Cell Menu, then go to Advance DRAM configuration. You'll get a lot of timings you can adjust so make sure you adjust the right ones (tRAS, tRP, tRC, and tCL) You can also try setting CMD to 1 if you have only 2 sticks of RAM.

Yes, i had this problem when i got another 1gb of ram. But my cousin told me i could manually tighten the timings in the bios and it does work.:)
