Ram Upgrade Help

Hey guys, my mobo is a bit outdated but I'm looking to max it out at 8GB, it only has 2 DIMM slots so I need 4GBx2.

What price should I be paying for 4GBx2? (UK)
What ram would work in my mobo?
would it be easier to just buy a new mobo?

I wouldn't bother. A new motherboard will have things like DDR3, USB 3.0, and SATA 6 GB/s.

Because ddr2 memory is outdated so supply and demand comes into play. When demand isn't high price goes up. As said I wouldn't bother unless you find a good deal second hand. For the price of the memory alone you could buy a new motherboard, processor and memory.
