RAM upgrade - Intel D945GCCR Motherboard

I have Intel D945GCCR motherboard & 1GB DDR2 RAM.

I would like to upgrade RAM. My motherboard supports DDR2 533 or DDR2 400 MHz SDRAM DIMMs Non-ECC DIMMs 1.8 V (only).

If I upgrade it with DDR2 667 or 800 MHz will my motherboard recognize it ?

Or any Compatibility issues would occur?

Probably will, but it will back clock it to 533.
