So im going to upgrade my ram this christmas but before i do, i have a few questions...

I have vista 32bit which has a max of 3.25? but it can recognize 4gigs, so should i just get all 4 gigs instead of 3?
Here is the ram i am looking at right now.

My second question is is there any difference from have ram sticks that are 2gigs x 2 or 1gig x 4, or are they both the same? My motherboard can support 8, but i have no intentions on going past 4.

and lastly im not to fermilier with this "dual channel" thing so please help me out. If i decide to go with 3 gigs, do i have to get 2gig x 1gig for it to be in dual channel? Or can it be 1gig x 3, but there is still another slot to fill, so idk...

I hope i explained them fairly well.

Thx for you time:)

A odd amount of memory will not run in dual channel on a AMD. Need to either get 1gb X4 or 2gbs X2. Two sticks are suppost to be slightly faster.

Since he is running a 5200, DDR2 800 is the fastest the memory controller will support. It would just underclock DDR2 1066
