Why not get a cheap 1gbx1gb kit..

Looks like that laptop can take 2gb max.

well i do not know much about ram so i doont know what will be compatible with my laptop. can you give me a link to one of those.

You need something like 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz SODIMM Memory. There are many brands and they run in price from 17-30 buck per 1GB chip.

You can also use 1024MB PC5300/5400 DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory if it is cheaper or about the same price.

Brand doesnt really matter for this type they are all cheap prices!

Check on Newegg, Tigerdirect, ncix...etc.

Make sure it is SODIMM as it is for a laptop.! I recommend you do 1GB and 1GB for 2GB max on that laptop. If you wanna stay at 1GB, you can get a single 1024MB chip or 2 512MB chips..your choice.


According to your specs, you only have 256MB installed right now, if you upgrade to 2GB that will be a crazy, crazy upgrade!!!!!!
