Hey guys! I'm gonna be getting a new mobo as some of you know and I'm getting the GA-P35-DS3L which has a stock RAM voltage of 1.8v. If the RAM I'm getting runs at 2.2v stock, that means I have to raise the RAM voltage on the bios to +.4v right?

Thanks! :)

*edit* P35 not P95! :P

Bios come by default for voltage set to Auto, if the memory has the right SPD and the board reads it right you should boot up at 2.2 volts. When it says it supports 1.8 volt memory it just means that it can run memory down to 1.8 volts. When DDR2 first came out it ran on 2.0 and higher voltage, when newer memory was released with lower voltage some of the older boards could not lower the voltage down to 1.8. Hence now they tell you it will support 1.8 Voltage.

If by some chance it doesnt boot up set right you can just go into the bios and set the voltage and timming to what the manufacture says is its default. That is unless you have a very limited bios then you might have a little problem.
Edit I just saw where your getting a P35, it should have the settings if needed.
