Lol stupid question i know but what the difference and why should i worry about it if it do? I never really worry'd about it but i would like to know
 
Each type of RAM has it's own voltage specification. If you go too low, the RAM will not work reliably. If you go too high, you run the risk of frying the modules.

Usually you won't have to worry about this unless you are looking into overclocking. And, sometimes certain motherboards will not supply the necessary voltage (too low) to certain RAM modules which is a one cause of compatibility issues.
