Ram VS Ram, Wich will win?

I was thinking the same, just want to make sure that Ultra isn't the same, and there for a cheap alternative. I'll stick with corsair for now, any objections? Comments?

yea, stay away from 3rd party ram manufacturers.
some good ones are:
g. skill
patriot
mushkin
kingston
corsair
OCZ
btw lower cas latency and higher frequency wins. also, try dual channel.

Ya I know, just wanted to make sure if I could save some money, but I guess I'll go with a nice chunk of Corsair, lol.

If I buy Ram with a latency of 3 CAS, couldn't I adjust it in BIOS, like 2 CAS, or will that just mess up the RAM?

It will typically be unstable at the tighter timings.

yes, lowering latency's would be faster and you can do that in the bios.. but just as increasing frequency, its overclocking. it will void warranties... and with a geforce 6200, id say it won't help you much in gaming anyways lol.

I know, lol. It really does suck, but I'll be upgrading soon, or eventuly... Hopefully soon. How does a Nvidia7600 sound? Well that's my next upgrade, after ram... And mabe PSU. Well Thanks for the reply :D .
