RAM- what type??

Hey there,
I am looking at buying 512mb of DDR266 PC2100 desktop ram. All i wanted to know is, is this DDR ram or DDR2 ram? I have read that the 266 in the DDR266 is the speed (MHz). Is this true? Could you please tell me if im buying DDR ram, because thats what i need!

Yes, thats DDR memory. DDR2 speeds start at 400 and goes up. While DDR memory has 3 speeds... ddr266 , ddr333, ddr400.
