Real quick. i have blue and black slots for ram on my MSi 870A - G54.

I am using 2x2gb Gskill ddr3 1600

Do i put them in the blue or black slots??
 
Either one. Just be sure to put them in matching colors to run in dual-channel.
 
ok and another thing, im hooking the case cables to the mainboard now.. i cant figure out where to plug in the HD AUDIO And AC-97 cables into the main board? any help with that?
 
f-audio.. got it.. think i know where that is.. going back to the build in about 5 mins. well let you guys know.. and i couldnt find it in the manual weirdly.

I actually yanked my audio cable out of the case cause I knew I'd never use it anyway.

It would be listed under one of the pin header tables. John posted the page in the manual above this post.
