Ram?

OK easy i have four slots of ddr 184 pin.I need a stick to get me buy till my boy sells me his two gigs(2x1gig)sticks of corsair xms ram.

So my question should i go 2x512 or 1 gig single stick?

Also when i get that ram from him should i add it or run jus that 2 gig in dual?

Which would be better all ram or 2 gig dual chanel?

If the answer is wait ill jus get a cheap stick to get by.

If you want to do dual channel, I'd do 2x512, if you want to just do standard, then 1x1GB... The one is more space efficient, and actually a good bit cheaper as well...
