Im assuming that's 1x512 and as such the answer would be yes for the 1GB DIMMi have 512mb ddr pc3200 in my computer right now, can I buy a 1gb ddr pc3200 stick? or can I only get another 512mb?
I believe that I would go with 512 also just for the mear fact of the price difference and also that you really probably wouldn't use it all.......but there is a slim chance you could.....
Yeti said:Well, the without knowing the motherboard (the one thing not in your specs, OEM?) I don't know how many DIMM slots you have. Assuming your 512 MB now is on one stick you'll at least be able to add another stick, and yes you should be able to add a 1 GB stick. I would just go with another 512 stick unless you're going to be using apps that you know are going to use more that a gig of RAM.

haha, I don't remember
