:confused: It might be the backwards of a swastika, which is a peace symbol. Either way, very odd building configuration.

huh? I tried that and the picture wasn't even close to the resolution you need to see buildings..

Heh, this time around it was either South America or the trans-siberian railway from Moscow to Vladivostok (~9300 km / ~5778 miles of railroad), then down to Beijing and so forth to do Asia. But I decided on SA, Asia gets to be the next time around. Btw I feel sad not to have traveled Russia more, I love the enormous country!

Yes its fun, IMO the best way to travel and experience the globe. With the exception of the world seas I never fly! If the place excists I'll get there one way or the other, hey I got time hehe. And you get to meet so much friendly and fun people along the way! My last trip was actually to North America, not that I'm done over there but with time.

Trivia: This SA trip will be the longest period of time I've ever spent in the southern hemisphere, or on the 'lower halfball'. :D

I think that may be a part of that Nat'l geographic expedition that in throughout some of northern africa. It looks like more of an arial snapshot than a sattelite image.
 
Wow they do look really detailed. and if you search area 51 you can see the base.(but then a black van will pull up at the side of your house and take you away) (kidding...)

Here is something for you, in the English Countryside it clearly says "EDDIE F**K" in a crop field... (I'll attach the file in .zip) Unzip and click on the file (Profanity.kmz) and Google Earth will take you right to it!
