Ive been having some issues ever seen I got this new lynkys router. Its a wireless N... the issue is when I surf the web it works until I switch to another internet address... I lose my connection so I unplug and replug router and my modem... and it works again... the same problem occurs... I can run counter strike fine.. but then it kicks all the other computers offline... Its the strangest thing... My firmware is up to date... cables are fine.. ran spyware... Seems to be something between the cable modem and router that is causing the issue... I am not running any firewalls through software... anyone ever heard anything like this before.... I have to constantly reset my modem and router(unplugging... not holding the reset button)

Any help would be great

Ignore my signature... ill update it

Core 2 duo @ 2.4 | 2 gigs of corsair ram| p5nsli mobo| 700 wat game xtream psu| sli 7900 xfx nvidia | Router is a lynksys wireless N 150 | My computer is directly connected and downstairs is wireless

Not sure if specs were needed

any help would be great

Try changing the wireless broadcast channel from the router settings. Go up or down atleast 3 channels. If it doesnt help, do it again.

Im directly connected... would changing the wireless broadcast fix the problem?
It just seems to disconnect after using the net for 1 min... so I have to unplug
Ah its so frustrating

Ohh ok, I see.. So no not a wireless broadcast issue... Does it disconnect on the desktop and laptop at the same interval? Modems are usually pretty stable, until you get one that doesnt agree with your router. then it is hell to get working.

Hey friend just try to make connection with wireless broadband channel from the settings that you have been done with router.Go up or down atleast 3 channels.this problem is very much common and occurres very frequently so don't take tension and go for the solutions it must helps you..
