i doubt it, 2 programs are reporting the same tempts, speedfan calling it remote 1 and this other program called "sensor view" saying its the cpu

while everest on the other hand has my cpu performing fine in the 47C camp..i need some super computer genius to figure this out, like praetor
 
Well I can tell you if it was the CPU, you'd see smoke.

I think it's just a faulty reading. A remote sensor means it's not actually on a chip anywhere. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you're having problems.
