In terms of downloading a song every once in a while (with uploading disabled), rank the safety against RIAA:

Internet websites
Kazaa
BitTorrent
Limewire
IRC
i2Hub (Internet 2)
Bearshare

Also, what would be the estimated fine of DOWNLOADING one song from any of these sources, with a settlement bargaining with them ... like $1000? or like $100000?

Do not download copyrighted material and you will be fine. This is a public, respectable computer forum that does not condone downloading illegal material. I have a feeling this thread will be locked very soon.

They are all unsafe, but kazza if one of the worst i know, Because if you just download kazza itssself you already have spyware,k spyware is packed in with kazza itsself, then you can even mroe screwed with the files you download.

I use limewire! Download a nice little program called peerguarding and activate it before useing limewire, that will keep unwanted people such as riaa and fake file servers from snooping around, but dont download any copyrighted material!
