Raptor Slow?

Well my raptor has been going really slow lately. It's the 36 gig version. I'ts been defraged and does't have any spyware/adware or viruses. Thats all the info I'm gona put for now. If you need more just ask. I really don't know what to put anyways lol.

Well all that I have on this drive is games. The reason I can tell it's slow is that my old 7200 ide hd loaded games faster that this is. The drive isn't close to being full and still has 27 gigs free out of 36.7.

Intel P4/ 2.8/800fbs
2 gig sticks of coasiar xms
Abit IS7-E Series MoBo
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128
Maxtor 80 gig, 7200 ide
WD 36.7 gig, 10,000 sata
Sound Blaster 2 ZS Plat
dvd/cd-rw combo drive
cd-rw drive
PSU 540W (don't know specs, but will try to get them)
5 Case fans
temp display


Now what I am wondering is maybe my system is too powerhungry and that my PS isn't a higher quality one and not supplying enough juice? Think that could be an option? I plan on getting the 500W ultra-x xonnect PS soon.
