I personally, would get the Twelve Hundred... maybe that's just me though.
Yeah, there's something comforting about the case, and the extra space to work in.

Well, I'm sure the nine hundred is big enough, but there's just something epicly awesome about the twelve hundred.

Yeah I believe outside of the USA and maybe China/Japan/Korea electronics in general cost a lot.
I know lot of people from Europe who come here to the states, and students on vacation, to buy electronics here since they're more than half as expensive. Most people don't know how good they have it here.
