Rate my first build:)

well keep in mind that this is for video editing not gaming there is such a huge difference on performance thats its unbelieveable ;), like i said i had a video editor and we got him the 7900GT the difference between his old quadro and this almost old video card was barely noticible its was an improvement no doubt but still i was amazed (he bought the quadro i think in 2000 and the 7900GT was out way later than that) just to put it simple lovely hard core gaming video cards, are almost to no match with the quadro series. assuming that the owner will not use it for gaming but video rendering and editing

What is a hard drive that will be beter from the canadian site?

Newegg is american

Also deos anyone know if my video card is SLI??

No its not, SLI means have 2 or more video cards on one board. Im wondering myself whats better, a 8800GTX/Ultra or that $700 one he posted for graphic design? :P

Howcome cards like this one make note that they are SLI then?

Uh, also note that XP Home edition won't recognize 4 Gigs of RAM. Unless you get the 64-bit edition.
Awsome to know thanks :)

You can put it in sli, it means you can link two of those cards together

like this
Is that somthing i should invest in? that way i could have a normal graphics card and a high end work station card or is it nearly the same thing to have them connected as it is to have both graphics cards in the mother board not connected?

No in order to use SLI you have to have two of the SAME card. So like i said i would love to know that card vs. a 8800GTX or Ultra in graphic design. Also on the OS, its either 32bit XP or 64bit Vista. DONT get 64bit xp, its horrible.

So i kinda have to go with Vista inorder to run 4 gigs of RAM?

Yeah, don't get 64bit XP there are about no support or drivers for it. Now with vista, 64bit is better. 32bit of xp or vista will only utilize about 3.25gb of ram

Home Premium OEM 64bit. Unless you got the money to get ultimate, but don't get basic.

The applications you use, they will work on vista?

they should be unless they really aren't sli compatible..lol another thing wich adobe products do you actually use? im guessing premier and encore right? if you are id recommend you also buy the new line of adobe products such as the master suite or one of the other suites, then you'll be really updated with the newest things i mean it even sounds good when someone asks you, with what do u edit/render videos? youll say "im running vista home premium with the latest maya and the latest line of adobe products up to date, and to top everything off im running on pretty sweet rig" so yea besides evreything else your looking in good shape ^^

yup thats the hard drive you want ^^
