rate this (budget) Desktop out of 10 in 3 areas - a)productivity b)gaming and c)Video/photo editing

Gigabyte/GA-G41M-ES2L
Intel pentium E6500 processor dual core
4GB corsair DDR2 memory @ 1066 Mhz
GeForce GT 240 1GB graphics



I know I havent included other key components but just RATE IT (in terms of what ive put up:D
 
a) What do you mean by productivity
b) 3
c) 4
It works, but not value for money. However, There are better combination within same budget
e.g. Athlon II x3 + AMD 770 mobo + 2 x 2GB DDR3 RAM + 4670

I was was a bit unclear, I mean like.... Office and stuff like that
and gaming = 3 :(
would it be worth upgrading the CPU?
 
Nope I'm a prospective buyer :D I'm searching out cheap combos as I'm on a budget - I would like the system to be fairly fast, however (enough for light to medium)
 
1) Not recommend intel LGA 775 socket. Intel already move on to LGA 1156/ 1366. No point of getting intel LGA 775 at this moment. So with a low budget, it would be best to get AMD Athlon II/ Phenom II

2) DDR3 is at nearly same price with DDR2. No point of getting it

3) How much is your proposed GT 240? you can find 9800GT @ $70 -80

GT 240 = £64.99 = about $90
