By pure chance I have a buddy that just got done putting together a Computer for someone else and the guy backed out. My friend had just build a new machine for himself and has offered it to me for what he paid to put it together. Alot of this is cut and paste, some from memory.
Spec's:
AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU w/ HyperTransport Technology
MSI K9A2 Platinum AMD 790X CrossFire Chipset DDR2/1066 4x(16X PCIE) SATA RAID MB w/GbLAN,USB2.0,IEEE1394,&7.1Audio
4GB (4x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory
600 Watt Power Supply
Dual Nvidea 8800gt 1gb
I think that is pretty much the meat of it, It also has 500gb hard drive, media card reader, dual cd rom's/ dvd burner, ect.
All together he was going to charge the guy 1600$ and he is offering it to me for 1400$.
Is this a decent set up, any problems that you see.
