Rdram?

I would recommend the Biostar Tforce 6100 AM2, it has great overclocking settings and I have had some experience with it.

What do you all think of this setup, I basically just went off of what Bobo had and got things I thought were close or at least similar as for as performance goes, since Bobo's were all in american, through no fault of his own haha:P.

Motherboard:

http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=010459&cid=MB.526

And as for the processor goes I think I'm going with the Athlon 64 3800 just because it is cheaper, unless there is a HUGE performance difference then I think I will still stick with it, http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=010224&cid=CPU.907

As for Ram, how does this one look?

This for the video card:

PSU:

And lets just throw a case in there:P

So I'm not sure how this compares to your setup, let me know what you think though.

Holy Bobo, I wasn't expecting something that in depth, thanks alot, it really gives me an idea of what I could get.
No problem. But I don't think that Bobo is holy. :D

Thanks for the info:), I had only really heard about tigerdirect and newegg and I knew newegg was american so it was kind of out of the question, I'm checking out canadacomputers as we speak!

Jared
Newegg is working on a Canadian site as we speak, but I don't know when it will be up and running

Well not everybody overclocks. And Biostar is not the most appreciated name in computing. I am not saying that makes it bad, but I just do not have any experience with it.

I wouldn't say that the difference is huge, but definitely big.

Huh. Well it seems that Canada Computers' site is down right now. I should be on later tonight, I'll check back and see if it is working then.

Good ol' RDram...anyhoo

Those look fine,i dos uggest the X2 3800+ instead of the 64 Athlon 3800,just cuz the X2 is dual core and is at a very low price right now,it'd be better imo.
The x1600 pro is an alright card, its a budget card that i dont think nvidia has made a competitor for.I'd go for the x800 and x850 series, theey are better but lack pixel shader 3.0

in the mid range cards the Geforce cards are the better performers for the money imo :)
