Re-install of Vista on my HP Laptop

So as we all know, HP and other manufacturers put bloatware on their PCs. I was thinking if I did a fresh re-install of Vista (with my Vista CD I had laying around) that I could use the key from the original Vista install that HP put on it? Is it possible?

I can find all the drivers for my laptop too so that wouldn't be a problem.

I also the read the warranty info and it said that HP doesn't warrant the OS so I'm guessing I'm safe there.

There shouldn't be a problem. At work we just install the OS for the key on the machine. (Unless it's windows 98/2000, then we use a blanket license for XP Pro)
