My old computer is running slow and I want to wipe it clean. It used to run Win 7 Home Prem OEM (HP) but I upgraded to Win 8 a while ago. I tried the recovery options in parameters but it didn't work. I'm thinking the recovery section is from Win 7. Question is, how do I boot from that partition? HP only sends recovery CDs and I don't want to pay for that (and I took the optical drive for my new computer...). I do have a USB flash drive if needed.
