My computer recently started turning off at random times. Then it turned off if I went to the internet. And lately it started turning off three or four times everytime I started my computer (the computer being totally cool, not hot). It happened before to me and I found out it had something to do with Windows Auto updates. I learned how to fix it but started again.
Now I am fed up and want to format my c-drive and reinstal windows vista. But I don't know how to format my Windows Drive. I tried to instal it, but it created Windows.old folder where it has kept all the previous files and the problem continues, maybe because old files plus the virus is still there.
Anybody please help me to 'reinstal windows vista by first formatting windows drive.'
